The UVC clarifier OASE Bitron C 36 W removes floating algae and reduces harmful bacteria for healthy and clear water. An automatic cleaning system ensures fully effective UVC radiation at all times. A control window provides additional functional reliability. Eye protection guaranteed by 100%, VDE-tested safety. With a power consumption of 36 watts, 4,500 l / h can flow past the UVC tube without a bypass. The flow can be individually adjusted and regulated. The OASE Bitron C 36 W UVC clarifier is available complete with a universal stepped hose nozzle from ¾ “(19 mm) to 2” (51 mm). The cable is 5 m long. A flow nozzle optimizes the flow to the cleaning rotor. The nominal voltage is 230 V / 50 Hz. Optimal for connection to BioSmart 18000/36000 and BioTec Screenmatic 12-18. If you have a severe algae problem you should effect a partial water change before starting the installation. Yamitsu Algae Master Pond UV can be added to any existing filtration system. For best results algae master units should be fitted in line, after the pump, with water being forced through them. Use the largest size of pipe possible. If hosetails are to be used, it is very important that they are trimmed to the largest possible size that will fit inside the flexible pipe (before glueing in place). This will ensure that the maximum flow rate can be obtained for the size of pipe.

The UV-5 and UV-10 models contain a 3″ (076mm) Stainless Steel chamber, whilst the UV-4H10, UV-20, and UV-40 models each have a 4″ (100mm) Stainless Steel chamber. Solution 1: A clean plastic spaghetti strainer (found at a local store) can be used to contain a tank bully within the aquarium for several hours until the new arrival adjusts to its surroundings. Just float the perforated plastic basket in the aquarium. Net the tank bully and place in the floating basket for approximately four hours while the new arrival adjusts to your aquarium.
