Praise and prayerThis takes place on the last Sunday of the month in St Boniface
Centre and, as the name implies, usually consists of lively, modern praise
and worshipful prayer. A candle, a cross, flowers
or an open Bible, (or a combination of these), may be used as
a focal point for worship. Seating is usually in a semi-circle
rather than in rows so that all can feel included in this friendly
time of worship. A small worship group using guitars, keyboard and sometimes
other instruments provide the musical accompaniment and
also help to set the atmosphere for the service as people arrive.
On occasions, this time of praise and prayer will take the
form of a quieter more reflective service, in the style
of Taizè or Iona. As from January 2008 this service will be known as 'Word and Worship'. There will be three Healing Services in the year, and others will
have a central teaching theme. January 27th Healing service
