USPG Mission Sunday: We very much enjoyed hearing Stephanie Mooney give us an update last Sunday on the situation at St. Anne’s hospital in Liuli, Tanzania.  There is literature to take away at the back of both churchs and envelopes for those who would like to make a donation to the work of USPG.  Thank you to those who have already made a contribution to this important and life saving work. Una Barter.

Lent Charity.  For our Lent Charity this year we are supporting the Winchester Churches Housing Group, know as Keystone.  This Charity provides bedsit accommodation for single homeless people and residents are supported and encouraged to find work if appropriate and perhaps change elements of their lifestyles.  The project is seen as a stepping stone back into the community.  Whilst rental income and the ‘Supporting People Fund’ meet some of the costs, Keystone is reliant on donations from churches and others to cover the full cost of the project.  Leaflets and envelopes for donations are at the back of both churches, and more information can be found in the February magazine.

Quiet Day with Ann Lewin. There will be a Quiet Day entitled Take up Your Cross, on Saturday, 27th March at St. Martin in the Wood from 10.00am – 4.00pm. Contact the Parish Office or see the posters for further information.
